Your first decision is where to hold the party. If you'd rather not have the party at home, consider using a nearby martial arts school. Many of these schools offer birthday party packages that include an instructor to teach basic movements. Or you may be able to hire an instructor to come to your home to give a demonstration during the party. Be sure to have the instructor teach your guests a few basic moves such as blocks and kicks. These moves can be incorporated into the games for a child's party, such as changing Simon Says into Sensei Says (sensei means “teacher”).
