Setting The Mood

Send out Spa Party Invitations to let everyone know what a glamorous party this is going to be. Thank all of your girlfriend's for a great party with Spa Party Thank You notes.

Setting a table with the Spa Party Paper Goods, including the tablecloth, cups, plates, napkins, and cutlery is the fastest way to create a focal point in a room.

Our Pink 8mm 33" Beads add a great look to your event. Use them as napkin rings or as a part of your table decorations.

Attach a bouquet of helium filled Balloons to a light post or mailbox so there will be no mistaking where the fun will be that day!

Tie bows with Netting or Tulle across the top of each chair back. The bows can be cut to any length and look terrific with tails trailing on the floor. Make bows to hang anywhere and everywhere…chairs, doorways, tree trunks, stair rails, deck posts, gift packages or table-ends.

Balloons can economically transform any room into a festive space in a matter of minutes by using some of the following ideas:

Use a Helium Tank to fill pink, blue and white balloons. Tie Curling Ribbon to balloons and group them together. (Odd numbers look best: 3, 5, or 7) attach them to balloon weights and/or chairs throughout the party area.

If you choose not to use helium, tie balloons to varying lengths of curling ribbon, and hang from the ceiling or from a light fixture over the party table.

Visit our balloon decorating section for instructions on making balloon flowers, balloon arches, balloon columns, balloon wreaths and balloon swags.

Make Balloon Flowers in coordinating colors. You can hang these anywhere or purchase a few dowel rods at your local craft store and cut them to various lengths. Paint the rods green and attach them to a wood base or use paper mache and place in flower pots. Attach the balloon flowers to dowel rods with pipe cleaners. These look like big daisies and are inexpensive but give a huge impact!

Streamers offer an economical way to splash lots of color around the site of the party. Create a fun and colorful effect by draping streamers from the center of the ceiling to the walls on each side of the room or form a canopy over the party table. The streamers can cascade from a bow in the middle (attached to the chandelier or the ceiling) to the sides of the room. The streamers can be twisted after they are anchored to a ceiling wall or table for a more dimensional look. Two different colored streamers can be placed back to back and twisted for a unique look. They also look terrific hanging from doorframes or cascading vertically down walls.

Cut out stars from foil and hang from the ceiling, mantle, and doorways or purchase these 24" metallic silver and gold shooting star decorations. Assorted in each package of 15

Cut out squares from foil and placed white tealights on them which gave the rooms a nice glow or add a little Sunshine to your party with our Sun Mini Molded votive Candles!

Cluster together spa items on tabletops throughout the party area, preferably on mirrored trays, if any are available.

Consider items like:
Towels
Washcloths
Nail Files & Clippers
Pumices
Nail Brushes
Bottles of Lotion, Oil, Shampoo & Conditioner
Shaped Soaps in dishes
Tubes of Face Wash
Hairspray, Hairbrushes & Combs
Eye Masks

Beauty Stations:

Set up several beauty stations throughout the party area where you can pamper your guests. Enlist the help of friends and family to man each station.

Facial Station - Every girl pulls their hair back with soft headbands and they get masks put on their face and cleanser.

Make up & Hair station -set up a vanity with a chair. After make-up and hair are done give each girl a tiara to put in her hair and take home.

Manicure station - soak nails, add polish and nail decals.

Pedicure station - feet scrubbed and polished

Games & Activities

Spa Scavenger Hunt
Divide the girls into 2 teams and gave them a list to take around the neighborhood. The list should contain spa/makeover items such as: nail polish, shampoo, lip-gloss, nail cutters, brushes, etc. The first team back with all the items wins a prize.

Musical Gift
Every girl seats in a circle. Start one person off with a gift that is wrapped with many layers (about 10). Play music: Gwen Stefani's Sweet Escape" is perfect for this theme. When the music stops the person who has the gift in their hand gets to unwrap a layer. This goes on till the last layer is unwrapped, the person who unwraps it wins! The prize might be a cute frame that had a girls shopping theme on it.

Make Your Own Bath Salt
Sea salt
Scented bath oil
Food Coloring
Jars (baby food jars would work well, perfect size)
Ribbon (optional)
Tiny artificial rose buds (optional)

Have the girls mix the sea salt and bath oil in jars. Add a drop or two of food coloring. Put the lid on the jar and tie a pretty ribbon in a bow around the jar. Hot glue a rose to center of bow.

Spa Snacks

When it comes to food, partygoers are usually perfectly content to eat pizza or hotdogs, which is certainly much easier on the hosts! However, if you have the time and would like to serve some fancier, spa-appropriate treats, consider these ideas:

Finger Sandwiches - Make several Peanut butter and jelly and raspberry cream cheese sandwiches and jelly sandwiches on soft, white bread. Cut the crust off of each sandwich, and then cut the sandwiches diagonally to create triangles. To dress them up a little bit more, stick a decorative toothpick in each sandwich, and stack them on a fancy silver or ceramic platter.

Served Apple Cider or Pudding parfaits in plastic champagne glasses.

Petit Fours - Purchase a selection of petit fours from a local French bakery, these tiny treats are a dainty addition to any party.

Beauty Mask Cake - Bake a round cake. Ice it completely with a white, light yellow or tan base frosting (this will be the "skin" of the face), and then use a different color frosting or red licorice string to add lips and a nose. For the eyes, you can use green frosting to draw cucumber slices, or you can place actual cucumber slices on the cake—just be sure to take them off before serving! Draw eyebrows over the cucumbers using brown or black frosting, or black licorice string. To add "skin cream," sprinkle powdered sugar all around the face and forehead, outlining the facial features (e.g. lips, nose, eyes, etc.).
