Party Planning - Balloon Decorating Tips - Spooky Balloon Decorations

How to make Spooky Balloon Decorations

Easy to make balloon decor for your Halloween party. Horrible Heads, Bats, Two-Headed Goblin, Witch, and a Horror-pede.

Balloon Horrible Heads

HORRIBLE HEADS:

From paper cut out glaring eyes, leering mouths, and pointed, odd-shaped ears. Use your imagination to make the facial expressions as frightful as possible. Glue in place. Include small tabs on the ears, so they will protrude when attached to the balloon.

BAT:

Use a wire coat hanger with the ends bent upward for the body of the bat. Cut large wings from paper and tape to the hanger. Use a rounded balloon for the head. Tie string around the neck of the balloon and attach head between the wings by taping the ends of the string to the wings at back.

Add paper features and paint details on wings. Use the coat hanger hook for hanging up your bats.

Balloon Goblins TWO-HEADED GOBLIN:

For the body of this weird creature, use a sausage-shaped balloon. Tie two rounded balloons to body for the two heads. Add paper arms, a garment made of torn paper napkins, and paper features.
WITCH:

Use a sausage-shaped balloon for the body and rounded balloon for the head. Tape or tie the two balloons together. Gather and tie a piece of crepe paper around the witch's neck for her garment. Cut long construction paper arms and insert through slits in garment; glue to balloon body using a low temp glue gun. For the cone shaped hat, cut a paper plate from edge to center and form into a cone. Staple or glue to hold. Paint to match garment and glue to head. Add grotesque paper features.

Balloon Horror - Pede HORROR-PEDE:

This many legged insect has a sausage-shaped balloon for the body. From construction paper, cut long, spindly legs; bend to form tabs where legs are attached to the body. Glue in place along each side of body. Cut a double-pronged, jointed tail and glue in place. Cut large eyes with a tab at bottom for gluing eyes, upright, to top of your horror-pede.
